Celtic can go on and finish job: Rodgers
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers praised his side's maturity after Callum McGregor's second half strike gave them a 1-0 win over Zenit St Petersburg in Glasgow.
McGregor fired home a beautifully struck 78th minute shot to give Celtic a deserved win after spurning several good chances earlier in the game.
The Hoops will take that advantage to Russia for the second leg of their last-32 tie, with Carnlough man Rodgers delighted with his side's performance.
"I thought it was a brilliant performance from start to finish, a very mature performance," he enthused.
"I'm very proud of the team, but we're only halfway there."
Arsenal have one foot in the last-16 after strolling through their first leg tie 3-0 at Swedish side Ostersunds.
Nacho Monreal, Mesut Ozil and an own goal have Arsene Wenger's men in a commanding position for the second leg at the Emirates, with the Swedes missing a late penalty.
