Jose Mourinho's first home game in charge of Spurs featured a sensational fightback as his side came from 2-0 down to stun Olympiacos 4-2 and book a place in the last 16 of the Champions League.

It was also a memorable night for Tottenham captain Harry Kane who netted a second half double and became the fastest player to score 20 goals in Champions League history, in just 24 games.

The striker beat the record of Juventus and Italy legend Alessandro del Piero by two games.

The Greek side inflicted early damage through Youssef El Arabi and Ruben Semedo but last season's beaten finalists regrouped and Dele Alli kick-started a comeback before half-time.

Kane's 50th minute goal in the Group B clash was his 22nd in 23 games in all competitions for club and country this season and Serge Aurier fired Tottenham in front in the 73rd minute.

Kane's header on 77 minutes finished off the comeback.

Manchester City progressed to the knockout stages despite being held 1-1 at home to Shakhtar Donetsk in Group C.
