Manchester City favourites to WIN the Champions League after knock-out stage draw

Manchester City have been installed as the favourites to win the Champions League after the draw for the round of 16.

Pep Guardiola's side are the runaway leaders of the Premier League and now know they will take on FC Basel in the next round of European competition as their bid for a double continues.

As a result of that favourable draw, the bookies have made them 4/1 favourites to land the Champions League trophy for the first time in Kiev on May 26.

Paris Saint Germain, who take on Real Madrid, are joint 9/2 second-favourites with Bayern Munich, who will take on Besiktas next.

Manchester United are at 14/1 with Tottenham and Liverpool at 18/1 and Chelsea rated as the most unlikely English team to win the competition at 20/1.

Meanwhile, England is rated as the nation most likely to produce the winner at 5/4 with Spain next at 10/3.

Manchester City to be the last-standing English side is rated at 15/8 with Liverpool at 10/3.
