Real must get past derby rivals to reach semi-final

Reigning champions Real Madrid will face bitter rivals Atletico Madrid in the Champions League last eight in a repeat of last season's final.

Madrid claimed their 10th European Cup title by beating Atletico 4-1 after extra-time in Lisbon last May and are now bidding to become the first team to defend the Champions League crown.

Atletico will take heart, however, from the teams' meetings this season. Diego Simeone's side have beaten Madrid twice in the league and also knocked Los Blancos out of the Copa del Rey in January.

Chelsea's conquerors Paris St Germain have also been handed a tough draw as they face four-time champions Barcelona.

Five-time champions Bayern Munich will face Porto in a repeat of the 1987 European Cup final, when the Portuguese side triumphed 2-1 and Juventus, who dispatched Borussia Dortmund in the previous round with an impressive 5-1 aggregate victory, play rank outsiders Monaco.

The first legs will be played on April 14 and 15 and the second legs will take place on April 21 and 22.

The Europa League quarter-final draw saw holders Sevilla matched against Andre Villas-Boas' Zenit St Petersburg.

In-form Wolfsburg take on Rafa Benitez's Napoli, while Dynamo Kiev, who dumped out Everton in the round of 16, will face Tottenham's conquerors, Fiorentina.
