Northern Ireland women's senior international goalkeeper Becky Flaherty has signed a new contract with Championship side Sheffield United.
Flaherty started every league game for the Blades in 2019-20 until a hip injury curtailed her season as Sheffield United finished in second place behind Aston Villa.
"I'm delighted to re-sign with Sheffield United," she said.
"This is the perfect place for me to develop with fantastic coaches and a great squad. I'm really excited to further develop my game after picking up an injury that cut short my season.
"I've been working hard in lockdown to come back a better player and next season will be an exciting time for us as we look to better our performances from last season."
Flaherty won the player of the match award on her home senior international debut against Wales at Seaview in November.
The shot-stopper pulled off two one-on-one saves in the second half to ensure a point in their Group C Uefa Women's Euro 2021 qualifier.
• Former Northern Ireland midfielder Paul Paton has completed a move to East Kilbride. Paton was called up to the full Northern Ireland squad for the friendly against Cyprus in March 2014 and was capped four times.
