Eden Hazard will stall on a new deal at Chelsea in the hope that Real Madrid launch a bid to sign him, the Daily Mail reports. The paper says the Spanish side have had a long-standing interest in the striker, but that any offer is only likely to materialise if Zinedine Zidane stays in charge.

What the papers say

Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City have all set their sights on Napoli ace Jorginho, according to the Sun. The paper says a number of Premier League clubs have sent scouts to watch the Italian midfielder, who has been in impressive form recently.

Liverpool are said to be looking to bring back former player Suso. The Mirror reports on claims in the Italian media that Jurgen Klopp could take advantage this summer of the 24-year-old AC Milan star’s 40 million euro (£36million) release clause, as the side look to replace Philippe Coutinho.

Everton have put Jamie Vardy at the top of their summer target list, according to the Mirror. The paper says it is believed the Leicester striker would jump at the chance to move to Merseyside, and would be in line for a significant pay rise.

Southampton are ready to sack manager Mauricio Pellegrino even if they survive relegation, the Sun claims. The paper says the club have already begun thinking about potential replacements, with Fulham’s Slavisa Jokanovic and Ostersund boss Graham Potter both in the frame.
