Northern Ireland forward Kyle Lafferty is set to complete a move to Italian Serie B club Reggina today.
The Fermanagh man has been a free agent since his short-term deal with Sunderland expired at the end of the League One season and has always been open about his willingness for another move abroad.
The 32-year-old previously played in Italy's second tier back in the 2013-14 season, when he netted 11 league goals to help fire Palermo to the title and promotion to Serie A.
Those performances helped him outshine team-mate and future Juventus hero Paulo Dybala.
Northern Ireland international Tom Flanagan, meanwhile, has put pen to paper on a new two-year deal at Sunderland.
The 28-year-old had been linked to a move to newly-promoted Championship side Coventry City but has decided to commit his future to the Wearside club.
