Northern Ireland drawn alongside Germany as UEFA Women's Under 19 Championship schedule announced

Northern Ireland Under 19s have been drawn in Group A alongside Germany, Scotland and Spain for the UEFA Women's Under 19 Championship.

Germany, whose senior side are ranked number two in the world, are four times winners of the competition and will pose formidable opponents for the hosts. Before they worry about that, though, Northern Ireland will open the tournament at the National Stadium on August 8 against Spain (kick-off 7pm).

The locals will then face Scotland at Mourneview Park on August 11 (kick-off 7pm) before the difficult task of facing Germany at the Ballymena Showgrounds on August 14 (kick-off 7pm).

In Pool B are Italy, the Netherlands, France and England. Fixtures will take place at the National Stadium, Mourneview Park, Shamrock Park and the Ballymena Showgrounds.
