Northern Ireland's Euro dream is still alive
Northern Ireland's hopes of qualifying for the European Under-17 finals are still alive - but only just.
And slim as they are, a high-scoring win over Georgia in tomorrow's final Elite phase group game, coupled with a victory for Belgium against Holland, would at least mean there is some hope of being one of the best seven runners-up out of the eight groups, which would mean a place in the finals in Bulgaria in May.
A late goal from Shayne Lavery gave Northern Ireland a 1-1 draw with mini-tournament hosts Holland on Saturday after an unfortunate own goal by Shea Gordon during the first half.
They will have to do without Norwich City midfielder Joe Crowe against Georgia though as he picked up his second yellow card in as many games in Saturday's game.
