Paddy McNair - 7 - Unfamiliar role at right-back but really impressed. One fantastic overlapping run brought back memories of Jimmy Nicholl.

Trevor Carson - 6 - Not tested by the Israel attack in terms of making saves but steady in his kicking and handling and vocal in organising his defence.
Jonny Evans - 7 - Assured and commanding at centre-back. He is rarely anything else these days for Northern Ireland. Huge player now for his country.
Craig Cathcart - 7 - Made a rare mistake versus Bosnia on Saturday. There were none last night. Calm and composed performance from the Watford man.
Jamal Lewis - 7 - Quickly becoming a Windsor Park favourite with the Green and White Army who love his daring runs from left-back. Making the spot his own.
Steven Davis - 8 - One of the greatest players to wear the shirt continues to shine. Netted his 11th international goal and delivered a majestic all-round display.
Corry Evans - 6 - Tigerish in midfield. Solid first half outing for the Blackburn star. It’s little wonder Michael O’Neill loves having the younger Evans to call on.
George Saville - 7 - Another accomplished display in midfield from Middlesbrough’s new signing. Provided the cross for the second goal and was an attacking threat.
Stuart Dallas - 8 - Brilliant against Bosnia, he maintained that form versus Israel. Superbly volleyed home in front of the Kop and caused havoc down the right flank.
Will Grigg - 6 - Given the chance to start — his first at Windsor — but unlike the Bosnia game didn’t score or make a big impact. Worked hard in lone front role.
Jordan Jones - 6 - Looked a real find last season for club Kilmarnock and country but wasn’t at his brilliant best last night. Much more to come.
Michael McGovern (for Carson, ht) - 6 - Virtually untroubled
Sheffield United midfielder Oliver Norwood
Conor Washington (for Grigg, 65 mins) - 6 - Could have had a brace
Gavin Whyte celebrates his debut goal for Northern Ireland.
Michael Smith
Shane Ferguson (for Dallas, 78 mins) - 6 - Willing down the left flank

A dream debut for Gavin Whyte and a superb display by captain fantastic Steven Davis. Northern Ireland ran out a comfortable 3-0 victory over Israel last night at Windsor Park. Steven Beacom rates the team.
