Cameron Dummigan is one of world football's players of the week.

That's according to FIFA 18 anyway, which has named the Oldham Athletic defender in their Team of the Week panel.

The likes of Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, Bayern Munich's Mats Hummels and Juventus star Gonzalo Higuain are more predictable inclusions in the Fifa Ultimate Team TOTW but they've been joined by a 21-year-old from Lurgan who is yet to make his senior NI debut.

How has Cameron managed that?

Dummigan, earned his spot alongside the world's elite stars by rattling home an unstoppable 40 yard effort on Saturday afternoon. Not only was the rasper named Sky Bet League One goal of the month, it also helped to earn the Latics their first league win in 10 games. Not a bad afternoon's work.

Have a look at it right here - it's a real peach:

Any Ultimate Team players who want to draft Dummigan in can this week get a 72 rated player as opposed to his usual 66.

Dummigan signed for Oldham in 2016, joining from Burnley. He began his career at Lurgan youth team Sunnyside before joining Cliftonville and moving into the professional game with Burnley in 2012.

Will Grigg and Jonny Evans are the other two Northern Irish players to have made it into a TOTW so far this season.

What is the FIFA 18 Team of the Week?

Well it's highly important for those who play the game's Ultimate Team feature. It's announced every Wednesday at 6pm and features all the players who have stood out for their clubs in the previous week's fixtures. They're rewarded with a special FIFA card for the following week only with boosted stats.

Who else made it into this week's TOTW?
