Watch: Ballinamallard players must fight for the club or leave, says Dykes
Ballinamallard United manager Gavin Dykes has told his players to fight for the club or leave as they face a battle against relegation.
The Fermanagh club are languishing at the foot of the Danske Bank Premiership table, having earned only four points from their opening 16 league games.
And after the 3-0 home defeat against Glenavon Saturday, Dykes certainly wasn't holding back:
"I'm baffled because we give them all the information," he told the BBC. "Certain people here at the moment, whether it be through loss of form, loss of confidence, all that, are not at it.
"I'm after telling them that anyone who doesn't want to be here and fight for this club, they should do the honest thing and leave," he said. "The players here need to want to be here. They're not doing enough, either collectively or individually, and we need to put that right."
