Being appointed refereeing boss at IFA a dream come true: Moutray
The Irish FA has revealed that Trevor Moutray has been appointed the new head of refereeing at the association.
Boasting senior management experience with the Civil Service, the former referee is relishing his new challenge.
"Being appointed as the head of refereeing at the Irish FA is a dream come true for me because I will now be paid to do a job for which I have a great passion. And not many individuals are able to say that about their jobs," said Moutray.
"I feel honoured and privileged to be given the responsibility of leading the refereeing department at the IFA."
Moutray took charge of a game for the last time in May 2015, having refereed more than 900 matches over a 19-year period, including six years as a referee in the Irish League's top flight.
