Bet McLean Fantasy Football: The top 100 as Glentoran striker sends Linfield fan top

Linfield fan Darren Jenkins is the new leader of the BetMcLean Fantasy Football standings — and it’s thanks in no small part to Glentoran striker Curtis Allen.

With a combination of international football and Irn Bru League Cup commitments decimating last week’s Danske Bank Premiership programme, points were always likely to be hard to come by, but what little were picked up were certainly appreciated by managers throughout our competition.

Crusaders ace Rodney Brown — whose double against the Glens means he’s the leading man so far in October — wasn’t involved on the domestic scene, so it was left to Glentoran and Allen in particular to sway change in our table and his strike in the east Belfast side’s 1-0 victory over Ards was sufficient to send Blueman Jenkins Granatadam XI to the summit.

We have listed the top 100 supporters below. As many as 749 teams are taking part so if you made it into the top 100, you deserve a huge well done.

Which team's supporters are the most knowledgeable?

Based on our top 100, it's Linfield supporters. There are 25 of them in the top 100. In second place are Glentoran fans with 13, then Coleraine supporters on 10, Portadown 8, Ballymena United 7, Glenavon and Cliftonville 6, Ballinamallard 5, Crusaders 4, Warrenpoint and Carrick 3 as well as one each from Distillery, Ards, Larne, Knockbreda and Newry. The final five didn't disclose which team they support.

How do I count up my points?

Use the table below to work out how many you have and how far off the top 100 you are. It's all very close.
