Holders Linfield will face Cliftonville in the tie of the Bet McLean League Cup quarter-finals.

The Blues saw off Dungannon on Tuesday evening to reach the last eight, while Cliftonville edged Bangor 3-2.

Elsewhere, Crusaders will go to Ballymena to take on David Jeffrey's Sky Blues.

"It's another mammoth task," said United boss David Jeffrey, after his side drew 1-1 with the Crues on Saturday afternoon shortly before the draw. "You could see today the quality they have. We just about did enough to go through in the semi-final last year. We've got Crusaders on Tuesday in the County Antrim Shield semi-final and now we have Crusaders in the League Cup.

"You're going to face a good team in this stage of the competitions and we're just pleased to have another opportunity to prove ourselves."

Championship side Dundela, who shocked Larne in the third round, will play Coleraine while Glenavon or Newry City will face Institute.

The quarter-final ties are due to be place on Tuesday, October 29 while the outstanding third-round tie will be played one week earlier.
