Windsor win: Stephen Lowry battles with Linfield’s Joel Cooper

Holders Linfield will face league leaders Coleraine in a mammoth Bet McLean League Cup semi-final.

The Blues edged Cliftonville 1-0 in Tuesday's semi-final thanks to Joel Cooper's early goal and have earned the right to take on Oran Kearney's side, who saw off Dundela 5-1 to reach the final four.

Linfield will be keen for revenge as the Bannsiders have already completed a Premiership double over David Healy's side this term, winning 4-2 at Windsor in August and 1-0 at the Showgrounds last week.

In the other semi-final, Crusaders will face Institute, who edged Newry 1-0 in the quarter-final. The Crues had an even closer run game, taken to penalties by Ballymena.

The semi-finals are scheduled to be played on Tuesday, December 3.
