BetMcLean League Cup draw in full: Glentoran to face Larne in second round

Big-spending Championship side Larne will take on Ronnie McFall's Glentoran in the tie of the Bet McLean League Cup second round.

The Glens, now with former players Gary Smyth and Paul Leeman on the coaching staff, lost their opening game of the season to Cliftonville last weekend and will face an intriguing tie against Tiernan Lynch's Larne.

The east Antrim side have brought in former Northern Ireland ace Jeff Hughes, ex-MK Dons youngsters Ben Tilney and Andrew Osei-Bonsu and Cliftonville's Tomas Cosgrove this summer, adding to last season's signings of the likes of David McDaid, Shane McEleney and Thomas Stewart.

Elsewhere in the draw, defending champions Dungannon Swifts are at home to Limavady while Premiership champions Crusaders host Ballyclare Comrades.

The ties will be played on Tuesday, August 28.
