Coleraine are looking for interested candidates to express their desire in the manager's role at the Showgrounds.

The Bannsiders are currently without a head coach after parting company with Rodney McAree last week following a disappointing season that saw them finish sixth and miss out on Europe.

The north coast club have now appealed to candidates interested in the role to send them an email detailing their qualifications and suitability for the position.

Coleraine have stressed, however, that this is not an application process, rather it is simply an expression of interest in taking on the job.

"Those expressing an interest must hold a valid UEFA Pro-Licence, relevant managerial experience in NIFL Premiership or equivalent in another Football Association, experience in the oversight, development and strategic planning of a Football Academy," read the Coleraine statement.

"A comprehensive knowledge of the NIFL Premiership and local game is imperative. Good communication skills, business acumen and interpersonal skills would be required for this role."

The closing date is Thursday, May 30, after which the club will likely conduct preliminary interviews for the job.
