Kearney has his mind on title success
Coleraine manager Oran Kearney has admitted that winning the Danske Bank Premiership title would be the realisation of a dream but he's concentrating on making sure his players don't lose focus.
The Bannsiders crushed Carrick Rangers 3-0 at the Showgrounds on Saturday to record seven league wins in a row, leaving them three points ahead of champions Linfield.
Former Linfield favourite Kearney has had to dismiss title talk while his side blow away opponents but there's no doubt a championship triumph would be a special achievement.
"When I was manager of Limavady United and during my six-and-a-half years here I have always had the intention of winning the league when the season gets under way," Kearney said.
"It is no different this year as there is no point in being defeatist but we are just focused on winning matches."
