Wolves and Crusaders go head to head again tonight at Seaview.

Crusaders may have gone out by a convincing scoreline but that one minute that they led Premier League giants Wolves at Seaview will live long in the memory.

Having lost the first leg 2-0 at Molineux last week, the Crues breathed life into the tie 14 minutes in at Seaview.

Jordan Forsythe whipped in a dangerous right wing cross and, when Paul Heatley rose with Ryan Bennett, the ball flew off the defender and into the top corner.

Cue pandemonium at a packed Seaview.

Hard to believe as it was, it was a deserved advantage as Baxter's men had dominated the opening exchanges, Jordan Owens causing a series of problems for the Premier League defence.

The lead, however, was shortlived as the classy Raul Jimenez smashed a finish into the bottom corner at the other end just a minute later.

There was soon redemption for Bennett, who got his name on the scoresheet at the right end by converting a free header from a corner, and the top quality Jimenez made it 3-1 on the night by the break, twisting to blast a spectacular effort from outside the box.

The second half was a bit of a non-event, Wolves content to keep the ball without doing very much with it.

They did add a final goal of the tie but only thanks to Crusaders wing-back Jordan Forsythe. When Joao Moutinho hung a deep cross in the air, Forsythe was so desperate to keep it away from his man that he inadvertently looped a header over Sean O'Neill into the top corner.

When Crusaders take the lead against Wolves at Seaview....it's TAPS AFF! 😎

In the end, it's a 6-1 aggregate defeat for Crusaders, who can always look back at that minute the led Wolves at Seaview.

For that, they earned a little respect.
