Dungannon get boost as Teggart extends his deal at Stangmore
Dungannon Swifts boss Kris Lindsay has handed a new deal to one of his key performers just before the big Tennent's Irish Cup quarter-final against Ballinamallard United at Stangmore Park.
The Swifts are aiming to march into the last four of the premier knockout tournament in domestic football and they will go into that clash lifted by news of midfielder Alan Teggart agreeing a one year extension to his current contract.
This will see the versatile player remain at Stangmore Park until at least the end of next season.
"I'm delighted to get Ally signed up for another year," said Swifts manager Lindsay.
"Ally is a super professional in everything he does, whether that be in training or in matches.
"He has played in a variety of positions since I have came to the club and has been excellent in them all."
Teggart added: "I am delighted to sign for another year at the club.

"At this stage in my career, it is important for me to be enjoying my football and Dungannon is a club I am happy at.
"We have a great changing room and a bunch of lads that I look forward to progress and push on with in the future," Teggart said.
