Dungannon Swifts have parted company with assistant manager Chris Wright and first team coach Peter Kennedy.

The duo leave Stangmore Park with immediate effect after the club's recent wretched run, which has seen them win just one of their last 14 games.

"Chairman, Keith Boyd, would like to thank them both Chris and Peter for their hard work and commitment to the club during their time with Dungannon Swifts," read the team statement.

"We wish them all the best with their future careers."

Both Wright and Kennedy were added to the Swifts' coaching ticket last year under manager Kris Lindsay, who stays on as manager.

Dungannon are currently five points clear of the relegation zone in the Danske Bank Premiership after back-to-back 5-0 losses to Glenavon and Crusaders.

The Swifts have a game in hand over the two teams below them, Institute and Warrenpoint Town, however, but face Glentoran on New Year's Day.
