Glenavon have made their fourth signing of the January transfer window by bringing back striker Greg Moorhouse from Shelbourne.

The 25-year-old moves to Mourneview Park on an 18-month deal and will provide Gary Hamilton's men with another option up front.

Moorhouse played for Glenavon in the 2016-17 season, scoring 15 goals in 39 appearances for the Lurgan Blues.

That earned him a switch to SSE Airtricity Premier Division club Sligo Rovers, however he wasn't quite so prolific there, finding the net only once in 28 outings for the southern club.

But a move to Shelbourne revitalised his scoring touch, Moorhouse grabbing three goals in 11 games for the Dubliners across a two-season stretch.

Now he brings his talents back to the Danske Bank Premiership where he will aim to help Glenavon try and chase down Larne for sixth spot before the table splits.
