Glenavon will have to tame this Manchester United target to stop Molde in Europa League
Glenavon will need to silence one of the hottest young strikers in Europe if they wish to overcome Norwegian side Molde.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will be at Mourneview Park next Wednesday for a Europa League qualifier and one rising star to look out for is 17-year-old Erling Haaland, who is being tracked by Manchester United and other top clubs.
United's Scandinavian scout Tommy Moller Nielsen witnessed the son of former Manchester City defender Alf-Inge blast in four goals against SK Brann earlier this month.
Former United favourite Solskjaer says Haaland reminds him of Romelu Lukaku.
"He can become a top striker for sure," he said. "He reminds me of the type of striker Lukaku is. We have had offers from good clubs this year but we have rejected them."
Molde have also signed Leeds United forward Pawel Cibicki on loan until the end of the year.
