Blues are kitted out for Faroes

By Conor McLaughlin

Linfield have revealed their eye-catching new away strip - and supporters don't have long to wait before they can get their hands on it.

Sales of the Blues' orange reverse kit will go on sale at the Shankill Superstore at 10am on Wednesday, just one day before Warren Feeney's side lock horns with NSI Runavik of the Faroe Islands in the first leg of their Europa League first qualifying round clash.

Linfield warmed up for that encounter with a behind-closed-doors 6-0 victory over PSNI at Windsor Park on Saturday.

Andy Waterworth netted a hat-trick in addition to single strikes from David Kee, Jonny Frazer and Adam Salley on an afternoon that saw former Glenavon striker Guy Bates complete 60 minutes for his new employers.

Crusaders, meanwhile, completed their preparations for tomorrow night's Champions League joust with Levadia Tallinn by seeing off Welsh opponents Airvus UK Broughton 3-2 at Seaview; Diarmuid O'Carroll, Paul Heatley and Michael Carvill on target.

Elsewhere, a single Fra McCaffrey goal earned Glentoran - who face MSK Zilina on Thursday - a win over Knockbreda.
