In pictures: What Europa League play-off win over Linfield meant to Glentoran stars

Glentoran have endured another bitterly tough campaign but it could yet have a sweet ending as the club go into a winner-takes-all Europa League play-off final against Cliftonville on Saturday.

The Glens, managed by Ronnie McFall until the end of the campaign, ousted Linfield in the semi-final on Wednesday evening and it was clear to see just what it meant. Have a look at our gallery above to see all of the Glentoran celebrations.

They had fallen 2-0 behind at Windsor Park before roaring back with four second-half strikes to seal a spot at Solitude in Saturday's decider.

The last time Glentoran secured European football was care of their Irish Cup success back in 2015. A win on Saturday and they'll be through to the Europa League qualifiers and the welcome cash boost than comes with those early-season ties.
