Glentoran manager Mick McDermott says he fears the Irish League may have to shut down to protect public health due to rising Covid-19 case numbers, but he has questioned the value in pausing the season.

McDermott, who was floored by the virus in July, is waiting to see how the NI Executive react to the current Covid surge.
