A lot of people seem to have come to the conclusion that the title race is nearly over with Crusaders six points in front of the chasing pack but they are talking nonsense. The fat lady hasn’t even come into view, never mind started to clear her throat. Who can handle the pressure?

All games kick off at 3pm tomorrow unless stated.

GLENTORAN V BALLINAMALLARD UTD

(Tonight, 8pm)

THERE is plenty at stake here as the Glens are hunting down a European place and the Mallards are still aiming to secure their Premiership future. The east Belfast side are also looking forward to an Irish Cup semi-final with Crusaders but they will keep their foot on the gas in the league.

Luney prediction: Glentoran 2 Ballinamallard Utd 0

BALLYMENA UTD V CRUSADERS

Will the Crues hold their nerve? Their performances to date indicate they would be deserved champions but they still have to finish the job and these next few matches represent an enormous test of character. The prize in front of them is a tasty one but the pressure deepens as the, finishing line approaches. Luney prediction: Ballymena United 1 Crusaders 3

CLIFTONVILLE V GLENTORAN

The Reds have been struck down by so many injuries you could be forgiven for thinking you just strolled into a hospital’s accident and emergency unit on a Saturday night. Boss Tommy Breslin must be trying to remember an unfortunate confrontation with a black cat. The Lurgan Blues can give themselves a well deserved pat on the back after securing their top six place.

Luney prediction: Cliftonville 1 Glenavon 1

INSTITUTE V LINFIELD

Some Linfield fans aren’t happy with their side’s progress, but I’m sure a few of them are also surprised to see that the Blues are still in the title race, albeit playing catch up. It’s been a roller-coaster season but it was always going to be that way in the first year after David Jeffrey’s exit.

Luney prediction: Institute 0 Linfield 2

PORTADOWN V DUNGANNON SWIFTS

The Swifts still have work to do to banish their relegation fears while the Ports want to secure a Europa League place. Sadly, the Shamrock Park surface has seen better days and boss Ronnie McFall will want to avoid injuries for the cup semi.

Luney prediction: Portadown 1 Dungannon Swifts 1

WARRENPOINT TOWN V COLERAINE

Town are still fighting for their lives while the Bannsiders are switching into rebuilding mode and Neil McCafferty’s new deal is a positive start.

Luney prediction: Warrenpoint Town 1 Coleraine 1
