Crusaders new boys Rory and Ronan Hale are hoping their grandfather Danny can inspire them to a huge win over Linfield in the Danske Bank Premiership today.

Danny lifted the Ulster Cup and County Antrim Shield during a sensational four-year spell with the Crues in the 1960s.

Now his grandsons plan to keep alive the Hale scoring tradition at Seaview and ahead of the title showdown with the Blues, Rory said: "Danny's always encouraging us and we want to do the family proud. It's important we don't let Linfield build up a bigger lead."

Rory has already featured twice for the Crues while Ronan could make his debut this afternoon.

"We are focused on getting the three points and will need to produce a big performance to stay in touch with them at the top," added Rory.
