Hanover cruise to first ever Bob Radcliffe success at Stangmore Park
Hanover have won the Bob Radcliffe Cup for the first time with a 3-0 crushing of Mid-Ulster rivals Valley Rangers.
Hanover, managed by former Glenavon and Armagh full-back Steven Hyndes, were playing in their first ever festive Bob Radcliffe final at Stangmore Park and ended up comfortable winners.
Regan McIlveen opened the scoring when he nodded home Jake Richardson's free-kick shortly before the break.
And it was in the second half when the Portadown-based club ran away with the victory. Adam White finished off with a neat header from a Steven McClelland ball in and Justin Bradley made certain sure with a late strike to convert another assist by Richardson.
