Larne sign teenage duo on loan from Premier League side Huddersfield
Larne have announced the signings of Huddersfield Town teenage duo Dominic Tear and Isaac Marriott.
Both players have signed on loan deals from the Premier League club and, subject to international clearance, will be available for tomorrow’s fixture against Loughgall at Inver Park.
Tea plays on the right hand side of midfield and was named the Terriers development squad's Player of the Year last season.
Marriott plays in a defensive midfield role and has spent time on loan at Brighouse Town.
“They are two players with exciting futures," Larne manager Tiernan Lynch told the club website.
“Huddersfield were keen to get them a loan move and we discussed the possibility of them coming to Larne and experience of men’s football.
“I think they’ll bring enthusiasm, legs and a lot of energy. I was lucky enough to be over at Huddersfield last week and they were training with the first team when I was there.

“They’re very talented boys who have played regularly with the Under 23s and played in Europe with them.
“So while they’re very young, they come with good experience for that age and they get to step up a level.”
