League Cup third round draw: Linfield handed potential Dungannon tie while Coleraine face Glentoran

Holders Linfield will travel to 2018 winners Dungannon Swifts in the third round of the Bet McLean League Cup, providing they can see off Ballinamallard United in round two.

The Blues' tie at Ferney Park is the only outstanding tie from the second round, postponed due to their Europa League run.

Dungannon, of course, have begun the season on fire, picking up 10 points from their opening four Danske Bank Premiership matches

Elsewhere, Coleraine will host Glentoran at the Showgrounds in the only confirmed all-Premiership tie.

Premier Intermediate side Bangor pulled off the shock of the second round by beating their Premiership visitors Carrick and have been rewarded with a trip to Solitude to take on Cliftonville.

Limavady United will face Crusaders after beating Ards and Dollingstown are the other third-tier side left in the tournament, having beaten Portadown on Tuesday. They go to last season's beaten finalists Ballymena United.

The third round matches are due to be played on Tuesday, October 8.
