League race is a mental test, says Kearney
Coleraine boss Oran Kearney has challenged his players to show the mental strength needed to stay in the Danske Bank Premiership title hunt.
The Bannsiders returned to the summit after a spirited fightback sunk Carrick Rangers 3-2 at the Showgrounds on Saturday.
It was a timely confidence boost after the shock 1-0 defeat to basement side Warrenpoint Town last week - Coleraine's first league defeat of the season.
"We are not in an entertainment business, we are in a results business, so the key thing was to get the win," said Kearney.
"The key thing is that this league is as much about skill and physicality as it is about mental strength and I think that was a mental three points, rather than a physical three points."
There are two Premiership clashes tomorrow night with Linfield at Ballymena United and Glenavon hosting Institute.
The Blues will be looking to hit back after their 1-0 defeat to Glenavon on Friday night.
