Blues are on title charge, warns Millar
Linfield's Big Two match-winning hero Kirk Millar says he's hungry to score more crucial goals for the club and keep their title defence on track.
David Healy's side are playing catch-up in the Championship race following their run to the brink of the Europa League group stages, but Saturday's 1-0 home win over Glentoran keeps the champions 10 points behind leaders Crusaders with three games in hand.
Winger Millar celebrated his new three-year deal with the vital winner to sink the Glens, and now he wants more glory days.
"I haven't had many better weeks," said the 27-year-old.
"I was chuffed to bits to sign for another three years. To top it off, a winning goal against the Glens was special - it's the first time I've scored a winner in a Big Two derby and I've played in quite a few. I know I must try to add more goals to my game this season. We know we are still playing catch-up and it was a massive win for us."
