Byrne swoop just the start, claims Healy
Linfield boss David Healy has bolstered his attacking options with the signing of 27-year-old striker Kurtis Byrne from St Pat's, while also assuring fans he is still looking to strengthen.
The Blues missed out on their main target Davy McDaid, who joined Championship side Larne, but moved quickly to bring in experienced striker Byrne until the end of the season.
However, Byrne won't be able to play until the transfer window opens on January 1 and Linfield can obtain clearance for him.
The forward has also played for Dundalk and Bohemians in the League of Ireland, while he also had a stint with Hibernian in Scotland.
"I'm delighted Kurtis has agreed to come and sign for us," Healy said.
"I can assure our supporters that I will continue to search for other quality players who will strengthen our squad."
