Linfield go fourth after Glenavon win

Glenavon 0-1 Linfield

A Cameron Stewart header was the difference in Linfield's clash with Glenavon in the Friday night Irish Premiership match.

The defender scored on the 17th minute from a corner to seal all three points for the travelling side to give the Lugan Blues their second defeat of the season. It was also the first game the Mouneview side failed to score in.

The win takes the defending champions to fourth in the league above Cliftonville and eight behind leaders Coleraine who play Crusaders on Saturday.
