The weight of the footballing world seems to be throwing itself behind Larne for Saturday's Irish Cup quarter-final.

Not only are Ballymena United faced with the prospect of taking on the likes of Larne's January signings Thomas Stewart and David McDaid, now they are also coming up against the backing of the likes of Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier.

And on Wednesday, this one really took the biscuit:

Don't worry Ballymena, you'll always have Liam Neeson and big Jackie Fullerton.

Ballymena United are due to host Larne in the Irish Cup quarter-final at the Ballymena Showgrounds on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3pm).
