Milk Cup: Manchester United still star attraction

They may have left the main tournament earlier than expected, but Manchester United remain one of the biggest draws at this year’s Northern Ireland Milk Cup.

Paul McGuinness’s boys, more used to making the Coleraine Showgrounds their home from home, were in the unfamiliar surroundings of the University pitches last night as they made it into the Slemish Trophy finale.

They recorded a 3-2 win over Shamrock Rovers watched by a larger crowd than would normally be attracted to the Uni.

You can see United in action one more time when they meet Hartlepool United at Broughshane (1.30pm).
