Newry end seven game losing streak as Glentoran held while Coleraine go fourth
While the County Antrim Shield final was postponed, there were two Danske Bank Premiership games played.
Coleraine lifted themselves to fourth in the table with a win over Dungannon while Newry City got their first positive result since Boxing Day when Glentoran visited the Showgrounds.
Newry City 1-1 Glentoran
Newry City's run of seven straight defeats is over after they held Glentoran to a 1-1 draw at the Showgrounds.
Newry took an early lead through a deflected Stephen Hughes shot but the Glens were level by the break, Robbie McDaid converting Chris Gallagher's cross.
The result edges Newry three points clear of basement side Ards while the Glens move above Warrenpoint on goal difference and into eighth. Institute still lead the race for the final European play-off spot, a point ahead in seventh.
Dungannon Swifts 0-2 Coleraine
Coleraine are up to fourth in the league table after condemning Dungannon Swifts to their first first defeat of 2019.
James McLaughlin converted Jamie McGonigle's cross before Stephen Lowry smashed home to send the Bannsiders two up in just 21 minutes.
