Larne's teenage sensation Liam Hassin is attracting interest from clubs in both England and Scotland after an impressive first half of the season.
The 17-year-old, who returned to his hometown club last summer after a season with Carrick Rangers, has made an impression on watching scouts during Larne's march to the top of the Bluefin Sport Championship.
He may not, however, be with the club when they make their almost inevitable return to the top flight of Irish League football next season as interest grows.
Rangers have made clear their interest in the Northern Ireland Under-19 international after he spent a week training with the Glasgow club during the autumn - that followed on from an impressive performance in a friendly against a Gers XI at Inver Park earlier in the season.
While the January transfer window still has over two weeks to run, a move from the Ibrox outfit isn't understood to be imminent.
Instead they are happy to let the young midfielder, who has also trained with the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad, develop in the competitive environment of Irish League football for the time being rather than at underage level in Scotland.
