Sky Sports select top of the table Irish League blockbusters for live broadcast in January

Cliftonville will be featured on Sky Sports twice in January having been selected for the two live broadcasts in the Danske Bank Premiership to kick off the new year.

The league-leading Reds are in sensational form right now having ascended to the top of the standings and having reached the County Antrim Shield final on Wednesday night.

Now they will be shown to a wider audience having had their two table-topping clashes in January selected to be shown on Sky Sports.

Their home tie with Linfield on Monday, January 13 and their trip to Coleraine two weeks later on Monday, January 27 will both be beamed out across the airwaves.

The pair of games are both set to be crackers, with David Healy's Blues the defending Gibson Cup champions, while Oran Kearney's Bannsiders are hot on Cliftonville's tails in second place.

Paddy McLaughlin's side have won 15 of their opening 20 games in all competitions this season and are yet to lose consecutive games, while they are currently on a four-game winning streak.

Both games will have a 7:45pm kick-off.
