Ards will return to the Belfast Telegraph Championship after just one season in the Danske Bank Premiership. As second placed Bangor did not apply for a Championship Licence, there will not be a promotion play-off.

Harland & Wolff Welders winger Stephen Cockcroft has agreed terms with Crusaders. Talented youngster Cockcroft attracted the attention of Stephen Baxter after a number of impressive displays for the Welders. Cockcroft won the Championship with Ards last season.

Armagh City will win the Belfast Telegraph Championship One title if they beat Banbridge Town at Holm Park on Tuesday. Elsewhere, Tobermore United play Moyola Park, Glebe Rangers host promotion chasing Queen's University and Newington YC take on Ballymoney United.

Sport & Leisure Swifts and Killymoon Rangers are still locked in an intense battle to avoid relegation of the Championship. With two games remaining Killymoon are two points ahead of Sport.

Brantwood will face Dollingstown in the Championship Play-Off. The Brants won the Ballymena Intermediate Premier League while Dollingstown claimed the Mid Ulster Intermediate A title. The dates for the two legged play-off have not been finalised yet.
