Ballymena & Provincial League round-up December 28

With the holiday break complete, this Saturday January 4 will see a full list of fixtures played.

One league game in the Intermediate Division will see Ballynure Old Boys host Magherafelt Sky Blues at Mossley Park, where the home side will be looking to collect all three points.

In the McReynolds League Cup, Newtowne will meet Rathcoole FC at Scroggy Road, Limavady.

Brantwood are at home to Dunloy and with home advantage, Brantwood will be expecting to take the win.

In the Crawford Cup second round, FC Ballynure start as favourites against Killymoon Rangers Reserves, but a cup upset can never be ruled out.

In a third round game, Carniny Amateurs will meet Desertmartin at Tobar Park, Cullybackey, with Desertmartin favourites to win. However, Carniny will look to the good wins they already have had this season in cup competitions.

Ballyclare Comrades Reserves, last season's Junior One Division champions, are at home to Magherafelt Sky Blues Reserves and are looking to collect all three points.

Carnmoney FC meet Cookstown Olympic at Mossley Park and Mallusk Athletic, who have been going well, will have to be at their best to overcome Castle Star at the Valley Plating Fields

In the Junior Two Division, AFC Carrick will be up against Ballyclare North End at Greenisland.

Carniny Amateurs II meet Sport & Leisure Swifts Reserves at the Ballymena Showgrounds, with the Sports favourites to take all three points.

FC Larne have Cookstown RBL as their opposition at Sandy Bay.

Rathcoole FC Reserves have Carrick Swifts as visitors in the Junior Three Division at the Diamond.

Clough Rangers Athletic will seek revenge at home when they take on Brantwood Reserves, who have beaten Clough already this season.

Newington YC II, who have made a number of new signings, meet Wakehurst Strollers at the Seacliff 3G pitch in Larne.

Forthriver FC and Monkstown will meet on the 3G pitch at Carrickfergus in the Junior Four Division.
