Carrick Rangers fans are voting for their best ever 'Rangers XI' on their official website. Recently the Amber Army selected Paul Heatley as their left winger, ahead of the legendary Michael Hughes.

Institute lost 4-0 to Derry City in the Billy Kee Memorial Cup on Tuesday night. Derry lifted the trophy thanks to goals from Rory Patterson, Ryan McBride, Enda Curran and Aaron Barry. The competition is held every year to commemorate the famous Irish International Billy Kee.

Harland & Wolff Welders are mourning the loss of clubman Artie Kenny. The club paid tribute on their official website, saying: “He was a great worker for the football side of things at our club and will be sadly missed by us all. Our thoughts our with the family circle at this sad time.”

Loughgall are next on the menu for league leaders Carrick Rangers. Carrick are one point clear at the top of the table and if they can beat Loughgall at Inver Park next Saturday, they will go four points clear.

Dundela may be seven points adrift of league leaders Carrick, but when they travel to Lisburn Distillery on Saturday they have the chance to re-start their season. Since winning the Steel & Sons Cup final, they've lost two league games and they've been knocked out of both the Irish Cup and the Intermediate Cup.
