Down Area Winter League round-up

Clandeboye YM continued their downward spiral in the Premiership on Saturday, losing a devastating 19-1 to Brentwood.

Champions Greenwell lost their first game of the season, going down 2-1 on the road to Comber YM.

Moat Park continued their winning streak with a 2-1 away victory over Comber Star.  The newly-promoted Castlereagh Colts won their first game at this level - a 6-1 home win over 3rd Bangor OB. Ravenhill YM won 4-1 at home against Oakfield Breda, who are stuck at the bottom of the table. Willowfield won by an impressive 8-1 away to Vision. The 8th OB, also on the road, won 7-2 against Corrymeela.

In Division 1, Comber Rec III dropped their first points of the season in a 3-3 draw with the 43 OB. North Down moved level with the Rec at the top of the table with a 3-1 away victory over Queens Grads III. The 82nd lost 3-2 away to Ballygowan, leaving them pointless this season.  Stranmillis 37th OB lost 3-2 at home to Bangor YM III to remain at the bottom of the table with the 82nd.
