Mid Ulster League round-up October 5

Ballymacash Rangers move to the top of Intermediate A after their 4-1 win against Markethill Swifts.

Tandragee Rovers won by the same score at AFC Craigavon. Camlough Rovers had a 4-1 win at home to Broomhill, while Seapatrick recorded their first three-point haul of the season as they won 2-0 at Lisanally Rangers.

Friday night's big match saw Newry City go top of the B Section after winning 3-1 at home to Valley Rangers. Bourneview had a good 2-1 win over St Mary’s.

The top match in Division 3 saw a tight match in Cookstown between Cookstown Celtic and Sandy Hill. Despite the endeavours of both teams, it finished goalless.

Dollingstown eased into round two of the Premier Cup by beating Lower Maze 4-1, while in the Marshall Cup matches, B Division Hanover surprised A Division Banbridge Rangers by winning 3-1. It took penalties for Moneyslane to overcome Lurgan Town, but the season just gets better and better for Rectory Rangers. The Division 3 leaders destroyed junior champions Coalisland Athletic 4-0 to set up a third round tie away to Scarva Rangers.
