Mid Ulster league round-up December 28

The Mid Ulster League will break new ground on Friday January 3, when they stage their first ever cup final at Intermediate level on an all-weather surface at Armagh City's Holm Park, and will kick off at 7.30pm.

This season's Premier Cup final between Dollingstown and Camlough Rovers was postponed from last Friday, due to Dollingstown's Boxing Day appearance in the Bob Radcliffe Cup, and Gary Duke's side will be hoping for a different outcome from the disappointment they endured at the hands of Armagh City.

Dollingstown will start the match as slight favourites, owing to their impeccable eightfrom-eight record in the Intermediate A Division. Camlough Rovers, who themselves are unbeaten in league matches, this season lie several places behind their Planters Park rivals, and were runners-up to Tandragee Rovers in last season's competition.
