Thomas Stewart signs for Larne to make it six top level recruits at Inver Park
Larne have announced the signing of former Linfield forward Thomas Stewart.
The 31-year-old spent the 2017 League of Ireland season at Dundalk, playing 23 league matches and scoring twice.
That was after a three year spell across the Atlantic, where he played for Sacramento Republic and Ottowa Fury in the third and second tiers of the US football pyramid.
Stewart joins former Cliftonville players David McDaid, Conor Devlin, Ciaran Caldwell, Martin Donnelly, Paul Finnegan and Chris Ramsey at Larne, who received investment from Purple Bricks co-founder Kenny Bruce.
Stewart began his career at Linfield and also played for Derry City, Shamrock Rovers and Partick Thistle before his move to America.
