
County Tyrone all but ended Manchester United's dream of winning the Junior section of the STATSports SuperCupNI last night.
Tyrone claimed a 1-1 draw thanks to a second-half penalty from Dungannon Swifts man Padraig Lynch, after Cameron Crooks was felled inside the box. Daniel Kavanagh had given United a 39th-minute lead at the Riada in Ballymoney.
Elsewhere in the Junior section, young Corey McLaughlin scored the winner for County Londonderry as they stunned Arsenal 1-0 at Anderson Park in Coleraine.
Meanwhile, County Antrim strolled past Fermanagh, with Callum Marshall and Connor Scannell both hitting doubles in the 7-0 victory.
In the Premier section, new Secretary of State Julian Smith watched Antrim beat American side NC Elite 1-0 at the Ballymena Showgrounds.
