Point thrilled to land Griffin, while Glenavon net Donnelly
Warrenpoint Town continued their busy summer dealings with the signing of striker Marc Griffin from Glenavon.
The 27-year-old will lead the line for the Point next season after a spell at the Lurgan Blues where he scored nine goals in 27 appearances.
Griffin has had spells across Ireland with Dundalk, Derry City, Bohemians and Drogheda United.
Warrenpoint manager Stephen McDonnell said: "Marc is a proven goalscorer and will add top quality to our squad. We are really looking forward to working alongside him."
Meanwhile, Glenavon have brought in striker Stephen Donnelly from Irish side Usher Celtic as Griffin's replacement.
Donnelly (25) had been approached over a potential move last season, however decided to join boyhood club Bohemians instead.
He then moved mid-season to Usher Celtic in the Athletic Union League, where he grabbed 44 goals to finish as the league's top goalscorer and Player of the Season.
Boss Gary Hamilton said: "Stephen scored 44 goals last season, albeit at a lower standard, but you still have to score the goals."
